Head Game (2001) 5'28"

I made this strange little short after becoming thoroughly obsessed with Scrabble during my sophomore year of college. Morgan Staples stars as the protagonist, and James Hirschfeld makes a guest appearance.

Head Game features music by Bill Frisell, Radiohead, Jim Black, Mr. Bungle, and Dave Douglas. Very very special thanks go out to Corrina Lynch, Chappell Kingsland, Adam Hill, and of course, Morgan and James for all their support in the few days it took to film this.

Waking (2001) 8'41"

Ted Poor stars in this odd, eerie, slow-paced little film. There isn't exactly a plot to speak of here, but I had a lot of fun experimenting with the camera. Ryan Ferreira provides the ominous music, and Ian Fry makes a painful cameo.
